Job Summary

 

Professor Venkat Viswanathan's Electrochemical Energy Group at Michigan Aerospace Engineering Department is currently seeking a term limited Research Laboratory Technician.

Responsibilities*

 
  • 25% Conduct research in building embedded system software
  • 25% Manage and operate robotic experimental setup
  • 25% Manage the data generation and warehousing for the experimental setup
  • 25% Perform data analysis for the experimental data generated by the robotic experimental group
     

Required Qualifications*

 

A bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science. One year of experience. Knowledge of embedded systems, building robotic experimentation setups.

Modes of Work

 

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

This is a term-limited position through August 31, 2026.
