The Program Coordinator supports the First Year Program (FYP) within the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education (ADUE) Office by assisting with instructional team operations, course logistics, HR processes, and student engagement initiatives. You will work closely with the FYP Faculty Director, course staff, and student employees to ensure smooth and effective delivery of FYP activities across the academic year.

You will report to the First Year Program Assistant Director.

• Instructional Team Support: Support First Year Program (FYP) instructional teams and FYP Director: Assist team members with recurring logistical and administrative tasks; Assist student teaching staff with special course related requests; Assist with training preparation and coordination for student teaching staff.
• Course Operations and Logistics: Manage logistical operations for FYP courses: Utilize purchasing card to order supplies for courses and course related events; Document and track course expenses; Order teaching evaluations, Provide evaluation reports to various parties; Manage enrollment including overrides; Update course schedules and instructor information; Provide other logistical support for courses and course staff as needed.
• Program and Event Coordination: Coordinate and support FYP-sponsored events and initiatives throughout the year; Manage event logistics including scheduling, catering, room reservations, materials preparation, and post-event follow-up. Support marketing and communication efforts for events through updates to websites, flyers, and digital platforms.
• Human Resources and Staffing Support: Process HR documents for FYP course staff including Graduate Student Instructors, Instructional Aides, and Graders; Manage confidential records related to their employment; create and manage applications and forms to collect information; coordinate interviews; prepare offer paperwork.
• Data Management and Reporting: Collect and maintain data for reports pertaining to FYP courses and faculty, enrollment patterns, evaluations, and grading. Prepare or oversee the preparation of special and periodic reports to management.
• Special Projects and Program Development: Contribute to new program development and initiatives that enhance the first-year student experience. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission and evolving needs of FYP. 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in higher education
• Strong computer skills including Excel and Google Workspace
• Knowledge of issues pertaining to curriculum and undergraduate education
• Demonstrated strong communication and organization skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all areas
• Evidence of administrative independence and judgment
• Proven ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
