Responsibilities*

 

The Department of Pathology at Michigan Medicine has an open Research Investigator position to join our faculty in Ann Arbor, MI. Successful candidate will focus on the specific area of research that this position will be to investigate mechanisms of intestinal mucosal wound healing in inflammatory diseases of the intestine. The candidate will be studying how leukocytes cross talk with epithelial cells to orchestrate mucosal repair.

  • Participate in team science and studies under the direction of the PI's
  • Prepare a disclosure and patent application
  • Experience in Publications 
  • Leadership and supervision to more junior lab members.

Required Qualifications*

 
  • This position requires a PhD
  • Must be an experienced researcher, with at least 5 years
  • Must have experience in investigating mechanisms of intestinal mucosal wound healing
  • Experience with inflammatory disease of the intestine
  • Have hands-on experience with leadership and supervision

Background Screening
