Required Qualifications*

 
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO)
  • Completed fellowship training in Eye Plastic, Orbital and Facial Cosmetic Surgery Demonstrated excellence in medical and surgical aspects of oculoplastics care
  • Eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan

This position is posted as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor. The rank of the selected candidate will depend upon candidate's qualifications.

Background Screening

 

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses. Employment will require both a criminal background check and an institutional reference check regarding any misconduct. Candidates will be required to submit a self-disclosure form as well as an authorization to release information form.
