Job Summary

 

This part time role (15 - 20 hours per week) is responsible for providing administrative and operational support for the MBA admissions process. This role includes scheduling interviews, processing application checks, processing mailing needs, reviewing applications, and other administrative needs.

Responsibilities*

 

Application Review/Admissions

  • Manage key aspects of the admissions process, including reviewing applications, conducting plagiarism checks, and actively participating in the admissions committee to evaluate candidates and inform final decisions.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling using Calendly, ensuring alignment with Google calendars, and organize and track scheduled interviews in Google Sheets.
  • Oversee applicant communication and processing for Ross Quantitative Readiness Course, leveraging mail merge for personalized email outreach and maintaining tracking records in Google Sheets.
  • Manage the assignment of applications though Wolverine Access to evaluators for reading and evaluation.
  • Ensure fair and efficient admissions workflows.

Administrative Tasks

  • Prepare acceptance letters and corresponding mailing labels for the PTMBA Admissions Team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to admitted students
  • Create event materials such as name tags, signage, etc. as needed.

Skills You Have

 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Required Qualifications*

 
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in program, project, or event management, including planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining effective relationships and communication channels with diverse groups and stakeholders at various organizational levels, both internal and external.
  • Advanced knowledge in Google docs, sheets and slides and Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint plus other database, email and calendar-keeping software and technologies is required.
  • Experience with CRM management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.

Working conditions / Physical requirements

  • The person in this position routinely communicates with the Part-Time MBA Managing Director and program team members at all levels.
  • The person in this position may move through the building and throughout campus to attend meetings/events and access files or information.
  • May require work during early mornings, nights, and/or weekends.
