Job Summary

 

The research assistant will assist with coding open-ended response data from a survey on news consumption and civic literacy.

Responsibilities*

 
  • Analyze open-ended responses from a survey 
  • Meet with the research team on a weekly basis

Required Qualifications*

 
  • The position requires familiarity with Google Spreadsheets/Excel
  • Must be a UM-Flint undergraduate student 

Desired Qualifications*

 

Familiarity with coding qualitative data is desired

Modes of Work

 

Mobile/Remote
The work requirements allow for the majority or all of the work to be completed offsite.  On occasion, the employee may be required and must be available to work onsite if necessitated by unit leadership or their designee and/or the job requirements, but is not generally scheduled on a recurring basis
