The School of Public Health (SPH) Environmental Health Sciences is hiring an LEO during the Winter 2026 semester for instruction in the EHS 672 course titled Healthy and Sustainable Food and Products - Life Cycle Assessment. The course is a component of the department/s Environment, Sustainability, and Health subplan (concentration), an elective course offering in the Online MPH in Population Health Sciences degree program, and a general elective for MPH, MS, and PhD students. By course description, the course focuses on quantitative decision-making tools towards healthy and sustainable foods and products. It helps evaluate production processes and consumption decisions by considering their human health and environmental impacts over the life cycle of products. Students will use life cycle assessment as a tool for evaluating healthy and sustainable foods and product options, across various sectors, to reduce the impacts of production and consumption on health and the environment.
