Job Summary

 

The Administrative Assistant for Michigan Women's Basketball supports the program in all areas, including day-to-day operations, scheduling, internal and external communications, and office management. 

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills; have the ability to adapt to quickly changing circumstances; be committed to providing excellent service to internal and external constituents; show careful attention to detail; uphold confidentiality and demonstrate an ability to problem solve. 

This position will report directly to the head women's basketball coach.

Responsibilities*

 
  • Provide administrative support to the head Women's Basketball Coach, including daily calendar, business travel and expense reports.
  • Partner with assistant coaches and the director of operations to manage business travel logistics, expense reports and other administrative needs.
  • Plan and facilitate all VIP, donor and guest appointments. 
  • Produce content needed by the head coach for team meetings and/or staff meetings.
  • Manage all correspondence, record-keeping and filing. 
  • Coordinate the head coach's personal appearances and off-season engagements. 
  • Organize and execute logistics for Women's Basketball functions and team events.
  • Periodic work on evenings and weekends and occasional travel required. 

Required Qualifications*

 
  • High school education or equivalent and two to four years of administrative experience.
