CVC-OR INTERNSHIP
The internship is a six-month operating room orientation program. This educational program provides a valuable and unique career opportunity for graduate nurses and registered nurses. By teaching the RN a wide range of skills and knowledge, the program prepares the intern for their new role as a perioperative nurse. The internship program is conducted in a classroom, laboratory, and patient care settings. Rotation through multiple specialties is required. Upon successful completion of the OR internship, the perioperative nurse is expected to function safely and effectively in a variety of cases.
The internship position is 40 hours per week. There will be Day/Night shifts included in this position, with call and weekend/holiday obligations.

Anticipated start date to be January 8, 2026
Internship positions will take a 5% reduction in the payrate until completion of Orientation.
