The University of Michigan's Center for Global Health Equity was launched by a catalytic gift from Dr. Tachi and Leslie Yamada, and was generously matched by the University. The Center brings together faculty and students from across the U-M community, leveraging expertise from multiple disciplines in pursuit of novel solutions to global health challenges that can positively impact individuals in low-resource settings.
The Center for Global Health Equity (CGHE) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Intermediate Manager to manage and support a comprehensive portfolio of scholar and learners experiential programs. The position is responsible for the coordinated management of the Impact Scholar Program (postdoctoral fellows), administration of graduate and undergraduate student programming, and support of fellowship initiatives. These responsibilities require skillful coordination, organization, student and faculty engagement, and partnership within the center and across campus.
Working under the direction of the Center's Associate Director for Education and Mentoring and supervised by the Managing Director, the Project Intermediate Manager will support and lead efforts to design, develop, and evaluate educational programs collaboratively with U-M faculty, international partners, and external stakeholders. There will be a strong emphasis on developing, implementing, and reporting metrics and tactics that measure the direct impact of these initiatives on the world's most vulnerable populations.
