A Business Intelligence Analyst Senior for Supply Chain Services plays a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering strategic business intelligence solutions that advance a clinically integrated supply chain within University of Michigan Health. This position reports to the Supply Chain Services Applications and Analytics Solutions Manager. Leveraging advanced data analytics, emerging artificial intelligence (AI) tools, and innovative strategies, this position generates actionable insights that optimize supply chain processes, improve patient care, and enhance organizational value. The ideal candidate exhibits strong technical BI development expertise (with prior experience in Tableau/SQL and a deep focus on Power BI, DAX, and MS Fabric), applies predictive and generative AI-driven analytics, and leads proactive process improvement ensuring that data-driven decision-making is seamlessly embedded throughout the supply chain.
As the organization transitions to Microsoft Fabric, the analyst will harness Fabric's full capabilities including Power BI, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Warehouse, and Copilot?while maintaining knowledge of legacy platforms to support migration and integration efforts.
