The Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Research Technician to join the Greineder lab at NCRC. Our laboratory studies targeted drug delivery and creates innovative, translational therapeutics for real-world clinical problems in rodent models. Our projects are all translational and focus on creation of new intellectual property and translation to the clinic. Primary responsibilities will be planning and conducting bench experiments and meticulous documentation. Analysis of data, typically with the assistance of the PI, will also be expected. The technician will have some responsibilities for lab maintenance -- e.g. participating in lab safety self-inspections, identifying/ordering supplies and key reagents, etc.

• Bachelor?s degree and past employment or work experience of no less than 1 years as a full time research technician working in molecular biology. 
• The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, collaborative attitude, and excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biology, engineering (e.g., BME, ChemE) or related scientific degree
• 2 or more years of experience in laboratory research.
