The Bohnert Lab within Michigan Medicine Department of Anesthesiology is looking for an Analyst for our new NIMH project. The Comprehensive Mobile Precision Approach for Scalable Solutions in Mental Health Treatment (COMPASS) project is focused on the effects of machine learning, wearable and mobile technology to both reduce mental health symptoms and predict response to clinic-based treatments.
The Analyst will perform data management, programming, and analysis using participant quantitative data, electronic health records (EHR), mobile phone sensor data, wearable device data (e.g., Fitbit), and other data sources. The individual in this position will be tasked with managing and linking these data sources to allow for novel research. Additionally, this individual will assist researchers in determining the appropriate analytical methodology to meet their needs, use various statistical packages, and summarize and interpret statistical results.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently and be involved in multiple projects at the same time. The candidate must understand both database and research complexities and apply problem-solving techniques utilizing existing and emerging scientific knowledge.
