The University of Michigan offers a competitive compensation package that includes benchmarked base salaries, paid vacation, CME time and funding, full medical/vision/dental/disability benefits, retirement savings plan with a generous employer match, and malpractice coverage.

Responsibilities include serving as the attending physician on acute care inpatient services including the well-newborn service; the possibility for qualified applicants to supervise and teach residents, medical students, and PHM fellows; providing consultations to other medical, surgical, rehabilitation, and psychiatry services; and performing circumcisions.  Opportunities may also exist for split or full-time appointments at our partner hospital.  The PHM division provides 24/7 in-house call divided amongst all partners on both resident-covered and faculty-only services.   Our PHM faculty are actively involved in education, quality improvement, research, and hospital service, serving in multiple leadership roles within the hospital, department, and medical school.  We also have a two-year, ACGME-accredited PHM fellowship program which matriculates two fellows per year.

C.S. Mott Children's Hospital is a free-standing, quaternary care pediatric hospital with 348 private inpatient beds, PICU, NICU, and on-site Pediatric Emergency Department, as well as pediatric subspecialty services not offered anywhere else in Michigan.  For more information, please refer to: https://medicine.umich.edu/dept/pediatrics.
