A postdoctoral position is available in the Boyle Lab in the Gilbert S. Omenn Department of Computational Medicine & Bioinformatics and the Department of Human Genetics at the University of Michigan Medical School. The position will focus on bioinformatic analysis and scientific writing in support of ongoing preclinical and translational oncology research projects. This will include dataset organization, quality control, and downstream analysis of high-dimensional molecular data, including CRISPRi screen data, single-cell RNA sequencing data, and circulating tumor DNA-related correlative endpoints for active clinical-translational studies, including UMCC 2022.071. The postdoc will generate analytic summaries, figures, tables, and written material for abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts and will maintain organized, reproducible code and clear documentation of analystic workflows. The postdoc will also collaborate with faculty, trainees, laboratory personnel, and research staff to interpret results, prioritize analyses, attend relevant research meetings and provide regular progress updates. The postdoc will be expected to perform this work with scientific rigor, professionalism, attention to confidentiality, and adherence to all applicable institutional policies related to research conduct, data security, human subjects research, and protected health information.
