Job Summary

 

The Fellowship will provide the fellow with advanced training in direct patient care and ambulatory care, health services and outcomes research, and teaching opportunities within the Department of Clinical Pharmacy. The clinical and research program will focus on evaluating the implementation and program refinement of a novel Comprehensive Medication Management practice model for high cost, high utilizer Medicare patients within the University of Michigan Health System.

What You'll Do

 

Direct patient care and program development, data abstraction from electronic medical record and other data collection opportunities based on research needs (e.g., interviews), quantitative and qualitative data analysis, report generation, literature review, IRB preparation, abstract, poster and manuscript drafting for dissemination of findings, teaching assistance within the PharmD program.

Required Qualifications*

 

PharmD, PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency, ambulatory care pharmacy, research, and teaching experience, highly organized, detail oriented, experience with data collection and analysis, interpersonal skills, strong oral and written scientific communication skills.

Desired Qualifications*

 

PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Residency, Michigan pharmacist license.
